and much more!! 2nd Annual ECDS Summer Spearfishing Tournament May 30- August 29, 2010 *Open to SCUBA and Free Divers this Year* Our Spearfishing Tournament begins on Sunday, May 30th @ 7am and ends after the Sunday dive on August 29th. The tournament will be followed by a BBQ at the Ampitheater in Gardner's Basin in AC on August 29, 2010.

Any fish/lobster being submitted needs to meet government regulations, be officially weighed and photographed. If fish/lobster does not meet government regulations, please safely return animal. Official Weigh-In Station: East Coast Diving Supply; On board the Atlantus, Dina Dee & Ursula.
*Free Divers: You must bring fish/lobster to the shop for pictures, weight and measurements within 24 hours of spearing*
Non-Refundable Entry Fee: $20, Early Entry Fee (Anytime prior to May 30): $15. Must be paid prior to dive. You may enter the tournament at any time during the summer but you must pay entry fee before entering water to participate. First place prize awarded in each category.
The Master Spearfisher award will be given to the diver that shoots fish/lobster in the most categories and has the highest score. Fish do not have to place to be counted. Scoring is as follows: Ten (10) points per first fish per CATEGORY entered and then one (1) point per POUND. There will be an official scale and measuring board at East Coast Diving Supply and on board each vessel. Rules: 1. Contest is limited to East Coast Diving Supply Charters on the Atlantus, Dina Dee & Ursula. 2. All SCUBA Diving contestants need to be SCUBA certified and possess a Certification Card. 3. All fish must meet regulations and can be speared, stabbed or grabbed by the diver. All fish/lobster caught be the diver must be brought aboard the boat by the diver that obtained them. No mutilated fish/lobster is eligible for the tournament. 4. There will be no ties. All decisions will be made by the Instructor/Divemaster in charge that day. All decisions are FINAL.
